The Transporter
We came home from work to find the male Ranitomeya Imitator transporting a surprise new arrival. This is the second tadpole (that we know about) from the pair. The eggs are laid amongst the leaves and when the tadpoles hatch, the male transports them to a pool of water on his back where they can develop. The female feeds the developing tadpoles an infertile egg every few days.

The photo is not great as I couldn’t use flash and it’s through some pretty dirty glass.
